ICWE GmbH's receipt of an application and/or payment does not constitute acceptance. Applications and payments that are not accepted will be returned and ICWE GmbH reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without further explanation, to limit or deny access to any entity or individual to the said event. When registering for any of ICWE GmbH's events, applicants waive the right to appeal against any decision made by ICWE GmbH to refuse or limit access to the conference.

ICWE GmbH does not give permission for any delegate, participant, exhibitor or sponsor at the event to create content, either through interviews, face to face, recorded, filmed, or in writing unless this has been specifically requested in writing with the organisers. Participant Requirements

Access

All costs related to your participation in the conference must be covered by the participant/speaker, regardless of proposal acceptance. ICWE is not liable and holds no responsibility to such costs.

Please note that registrations at reduced rates are available for a limited number of places. In case the rate you have selected has no longer places available, the Languages and the Media Registration Team will contact you to offer alternative options before processing your booking.

Content

You acknowledge and agree that ICWE GmbH, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the be Languages & The Media Conference and Exhibition, including but not limited to, the name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue and time.

ICWE GmbH does not take the responsibility should the event not take place for reasons beyond its control.

Prohibited Conduct

Limitations on Use

By registering for the be Languages & The Media Conference and Exhibition you agree not to sell, trade, transfer or share your access link and/or code, unless such transfer is granted by the Organiser. By registering for a paid Event, you agree not to share, sell or trade your access. If ICWE GmbH determines that you have violated this policy. ICWE GmbH may cancel your access, retain any payments made by you, report you to law enforcement authorities, and ban you from future be Languages & The Media Conference and Exhibition.

Disruptive Conduct

You acknowledge and agree that ICWE GmbH reserves the right to remove you from the Event if ICWE GmbH, in its sole discretion, determines that your participation or behaviour is creating a disruption or hindering the be Languages & The Media Conference and Exhibition or the enjoyment of the Event content by other attendees.

Fee, Registration and Cancellation

The payment of the applicable fee for the be Languages & The Media Conference and Exhibition is due prior to the Event. If such payment is insufficient or declined for any reason ICWE GmbH may refuse you to access the Event and shall have no liability in that regard.

All registrations are considered as binding and the contract becomes effective upon dispatch of our confirmation and invoice. The contract is valid under German Law. Venue is Berlin, Germany.

Cancellations need to be made in writing and cancellation fees are charged as follows:

• up to 12 weeks prior to the conference: 50% of the participation fee
• up to 9 weeks prior to the conference: 75% of the participation fee
• up to 8 weeks prior to the conference: 100% of the participation fee

Please note that there is no refund for non-attendance and that even in such a case the contract is still valid. It is, however, possible to send a replacement without any extra cost or formal procedure. In this case, it is important to write to the organisers to inform them of the replacement; furthermore, the replacement cannot already be registered.
